Downloading Mail From Hotmail Using Outlook

I am newbie to Outlook.  Yesterday I was about to download email from
one of my Hotmail  accounts but not from the other but it said it was
a paid service.   I think it's like $50 a year to do this.  How can
this be that I was able to do it with another Hotmail account but not
another?

All I want to do is clear out my messages from one of my Hotmail
acounts and close it down. I don't want to pay $50 to save my email.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

Matt

Since the new policy went into effect in late Sept-04, you will need to
subscribe to Hotmail Plus! ($19.95/year covers all accounts) to be able to
access your Hotmail accounts in OL or OE.  Outlook Live is another option
for OL users.  See http://gbb.msn.com/default.aspx?lang=en-US

Thanks VERY much for this information!!  I went to that web site of
that link you gave but it didn't say anything about that price
covering ALL accounts.

I would love to get that service because I have several hotmail
accounts for different reasons.  And it would cost me a lot of money
if it were for individual accounts instead of one proce covers all.

If you know this to be true. please let me know.

Thanks again..

Matt

That's what we were told by an MSN rep in MSN Discussion newsgroup, yes.
One subscription covers all of your Hotmail accounts for one year.
