speed of msn 7.0

i have talked with 3 msn agents today about the speed of my internet browser.
It takes 5 minutes to get from page to page.  They each ran me through a set
of different things to do and then I couldn't even get signed in.  They ran
more tests and came to the conclusion that the internet explorer has a
corruption.  I was given a number to call and they directed me here.  I am
running microsoft xp home edition and I am not sure what Internet explorer

Can anyone help so that I can get back onto the internet??

1. In WinXP, you're running IE6.

2. This is an IE5-specific newsgroup.  If you're using and having problems
with the IE browser, you can post to either of these newsgroups:

IE6-specific newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser
IE General newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

3. If you're using and having problems with the MSN browser, you can post
your MSN questions to this MSN-specific newsgroup:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.msn.discussion
