Will IE5 run on Windows95?
If so, can it be downloaded and installed on a stock W95 system?

(I'm going to give away an older system of mine, so, I'm putting all the
stock software that it came with back on it.  However, the IE that was
stock back then hardly works with the current incarnations of Internet
websites.  So, I thought I'd upgrade the IE 3.4 that it came with to
IE5, if possible.)

Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, Win95 can run IE5 through IE5.5 SP2 but no IE5 versions are available
from MS now.  See http://browsers.evolt.org/?ie/32bit

Hi,

My IE5.0 for Windows 95 cannot show Chinese characters and it always failed
while downloading the Windows Update from The Internet.

Where could I get the files to install its Chinese display support?

Thanks.
