Error: 34 Incompatible version of the RPC stub

When clicking on Find on the Edit menu, I get the error
dialog box:

Error: 34
Incompatible version of the RPC stub

This was with IE6/Windows 98.

I have since removed IE6 and reinstalled IE5/Windows 98
(using the procedure in KB 312451.

The error still remains. Help!

You needn't have uninstalled IE6. Just reinstall 5.6 Scripting Engine:
