I had a problem with a file and my computer won't come on
and I contacted Microsofts support by phone and they had
me reinstall Windows Me and that fixed that problem but
now I have Ie 5.5 and OE 6 and my computer hooks to the
internet but IE doesn't bring up pages nor does OE get my
mail from accounts. Can you tell me whats wrong. I am
using my notebook and it works fine.

Please note that the page PA Bear mentions is still technically a Beta page
(since no-one has been brave enough to try it cold!<g>) - feel free to email
me at any time in respect of this page for whatever reason!

I've personally run the procedure a number of times, on a live system, and
come out on top - but there's no guarantees that your system will respond
the same way mine did!

Good luck - and *please* post back with your results, good or bad!!!!! - the
more data I have, the more I can assist others in the same situation.
