I have multiple domains which are handled by my own server,
for the sake of simplicity I want to setup the mail for
both domains to go to one account, now in outlook express I
want to separate mail from the two accounts into different
folders  how do I setup the rules to do this

please note, the mailboxes are catch all mailboxes and mail
to anyone@domain.ext must go to one folder and mail to
anyone@domain2.ext must go to another folder, hence the
need for wildcards

having two accounts on my server is easily done, but I
don't want the hastle of a second account and more
passwords to remember

One of the criteria available for mail message rules is "Where the message
is from the specified account".

Rules do not accept wild cards, but 'tent' will catch 'extent' and
'tenetative'.

thanks for your reply, now that you've shown me a little
how the criteria variables work I'm able to get the message
rules to work perfectly
