Kernel32.dll errors are usually associated with outdated drivers for your
display adapter card. Try visiting the website of the manufacturer of the
card to see if they offer updated drivers. If not, see if this helps:
For Win9x or Me systems:
1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the Desktop, then click Properties.
The System Properties dialog box appears.
2. Click the Performance tab.
3. Under Advanced Settings, click Graphics. The Advanced Graphics Settings
dialog box appears.
4. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to the left one or two positions.
5. Click OK, then restart the system when prompted.
For WinXP systems:
Click Start , click Control Panel , and then double-click Display .
On the Settings tab, click Advanced , and then click the Troubleshoot tab.
Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to None , and then click to clear the
Enable Write Combining check box.
Click OK , and then click OK .
NOTE : This procedure prevents the display driver from programming the
hardware incorrectly, but results in a loss of some display functionality
and performance. Although you can increase the hardware acceleration
settings to a point above None to regain functionality and performance, this
increases the chances of the issue reoccurring. For maximum stability, leave
hardware acceleration off.
