I have just acquired an old Win 95 computer (my first one)
and it has IE5.5 and OE5 installed on it. OE5 was working
fine until I installed Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft
Fax using the "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel.
Now I can receive mail but cannot send new mail or attach
files. I also can't open newsgroups etc. When OE5 starts I
get the message - "Address book failed to load. Outlook
express incorrectly configured. Please reinstall".
Removing Exchange and Fax did not help. If I have to
reinstall, where do I go to download OE5 and is there
another solution? I will appreciate help on this. Thanks
for your time.
Roger

Thank you. It seems I need to reinstall OE5. However,
trying to reinstall via "Add component" for MIcrosoft
Internet explorer through the control panel's Add/REmove
programs" fails at attempt to connect with the download
site. The message I get is "Setup was unable to download
the required components. Please make sure you are
connected to the internet or try to run setup again later".
This happens everytime I run setup and even though the
internet connection is on. What do I do now?
Thanks,
Roger
