Deleted emails after a NVIDIA Video error

Hi, I want to know, wich the problem with the Outlook Express 6.0?, in my
received emails, I have near of 6000 emails, and by some error with my NVIDIA
Video Card the Computer have an error and the screen turn in black,and
shutdown. When I turn it on, and I go to the Outlook Express, some much
emails I lost.

Are/were these emails in your inbox?
Do not keep mail in any of the default folders of OE, move them to
folders created by you under Local Folders. Disable "compact in the
background" and do this manually, frequently whilst offline. Make
regular backups of all your folders.
