I have outlook express. Any jpeg picuture that is sent to me as an attachment
will not open because something is pointing it to powerpoint and it says that
powerpoint will not open this jpeg file. How can I get it to not point or
connect to powerpoint so I can open jpeg pickture files?

Save the JPEG to your hard-drive.

SHIFT+Right click on it > Open with > choose application & also check the
'Always open with...' box.
