I use Outlook Express 5.50.4807.1700.  Whenver I launch OE 5.5, I am missing
over 1 year of consecutive emails in my Inbox.  It looks like OE is omitting
all emails from 9/2/03 until 10/21/04 as if they never existed.  I've reboot
my PC several times and nothing happens.  My inbox is very large at 1.92 GB
and contains over 4 years of emails.  Is the inbox corrupt?  If so, I get no
errors.  Any ideas on how to restore the inbox to its normal state?  Help is
much appreciated!!

Once would have been enough.
Locate Inbox.dbx (Tools | Options | Maintenace | Store Folder will tell you
where).
Copy it to a Windows folder of its own.
Use DBXtract ($5) or DBXpress ($25 but faster and more versatile) to extract
the messages from Inbox.dbx
