I have Win 95b with IE & OE 5.5. Inadvertently I had loaded Outlook 97
though I did NOT require it. I then removed it without removing the shared
components (like Windows Messaging). I am NOW NOT able to open OE from IE
though under the MAIL TAB Read Mail appears. When I try to Open, the
following ERROR msg appears:
Cannot find the file 'gIIG@I' [or one of its components].Make sure the path
and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

What should I do?
Thanks

See this link, but the more surefire way is just to reinstall IE and OE, as
Office 97 breaks a lot of things.

Thanks Steve, I edited the Windows Registry and it worked.
