I am having trouble importing my Outlook Express 6.0
emails from my old PC to my new PC (which also has OE 6.0).
My old PC had Windows ME and my new PC has Windows XP
(home version)

I saved the Outlook Express emails on my old PC to a CD
but I am unable to import them from the CD onto my new PC.

PLEASE HELP!

p.s. the emails on the CD are in .cvs format

Hi there,

Make sure you remove the "read only" attribute from the files on your CD;
they are marked "read only" by default, and OE cannot import those.

Hi Margaret and thanks for responding so quickly to my
post...
unfortunetly, after I removed the "read only" attribute I
got this message "unable to set the attributes for
messages.csv"

am I stuck??? is there anything else I can do?

What files did you save from the old PC and in what format?
