Hi
I am working on a machine that is not overly powerful.  However, when I send
short text emails they go through in a flash.  When I send zipped pictures
they seem to take ages and I get the message your pop mail server is not
respond - wait or cancel.  What can i do please?
Regards

Its a connection issue and the only thing you can probably do is reduce the
size of the images.

How large are the zipped files?

OLEXP: You Cannot Send a Message with Graphic Attachments

Check the Server Timeout in Outlook Express: Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Advanced.
Increasing the value there may help when sending.  Avoid setting the maximum value.

Also check with your ISP and the recipient's ISP to see if there is a maximum message size
that you can send.  If so, specify this limit in Outlook Express: Tools, Accounts, Mail,
Properties, Advanced, Break Apart

Get Irfanview and you can reduce the size to something more manageable.
