Is there any way to print a columnar list of the address
book as is shown on the screen?
The three options (memo, bus. card, phone book)are all
unacceptable--either too much info or not enough.
Using cut and paste gives me more info than what is shown
on the screen. And doing "Print Screen" or "Ctrl P"
doesn't work.
I've tried to edit these items on the clipboard; however,
it is very time consuming and still not in the four
columns that I need.
Any suggestions as to how I can get around this?
Thanks, Linda

Open the address book by clicking at Start/Run and type: WAB /a
Now select all the contacts (Ctrl+A), then Ctrl+C to copy them to the
clipboard. Now open a blank example of notepad (Start/Run and type:
notepad) and in the text portion of notepad, click Ctrl+V to paste the
contents. Will that do for what you have in mind?

Linda,
Export the Address Book (File> Export) as Other Address Book> Text File
(Comma Separated Values.) Open it with Excel and delete the columns you
don't need. Or, you can choose to leave out selected fields during the
export to CSV file process.
Hope this helps,
Don

Don,
I don't have Excel. But would this same thing work with
Quattro Pro (Corel Word Perfect-Suite 8)?

The CSV text file can be opened in any word processor, spreadsheet or database program,
where you can format it and print it as desired.
