Lost some mail in Outlook Express when added service pack to 5.5

Hi,

Today, I installed the Explorer 5.5 SP2 service pack.
The operation seemed to go OK, except for in my inbox in
Outlook Express, I lost all the mails from today back to
late October 2003.
Does anyone know of any way I can recover these emails?
