when I lift the mouse, it causes me to lose web contact,
then i lose all that i've been working on. how do i
prevent this? all i did was lift the mouse to better
position it back to the center of my mousepad. it happens
whenever i'm online, also in my email pgm.

it also happens when there is a smaller margined page and
the cursor makes a beeline for the edge of the page and
careens off onto my desktop too. what causes that?

I have win xp home ed, on a HP laptop. I'm not yet that
familiar with xp.

Hope you can help, thanks, js

That is WEIRD... have you tried updating your mouse drivers?

Do  NOT send me an email. I will NOT see it (thank the spammers and viruses)
