i'm trying to uninstall my ie7 beta 2, but it is giving me a message to sign
onto the account that it was installed from.  Well, that account is long gone
now!  What to do?  Local and domain administrator accounts don't work.

Go to Start | Run and type
regedit
and press <Enter>
Navigate to the key
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Click on Internet Explorer.
Right click in the right pane and select New String Value .
Name that value
InstalledByUser
Right click the new value and choose Modify and give it  your User Account
name
Now try to Uninstall IE7 via Add or Remove Programs.
