Try clearing out your TIF (temporary internet files folder) completely:
Boot to DOS (Start...Shutdown...Restart in MS-DOS mode)
Go to C:\Windows
type -- smartdrv -- <enter> - gets rid of all that disk thrashing
type -- deltree history -- <enter and y to verify> - to clear History
type -- deltree tempor~1 -- <enter and y to verify> - to clear TIF
Reboot

Thank you, Jon! I did exactly what you said... it took about 30 minutes to
do the 2nd delete, but it hasn't failed in about 4 days.
I'm not sure why that would have worked, but it seems to have!

I spoke too soon... it just did it again after about 5 days.
Do you have any other ideas??

With the page refreshing every 60 seconds, your TIF can fill up fast - with
all sorts of stuff. What size do you have your TIF set at? If that is all
the computer is doing, you could dramatically increase the size of your TIF.
Another thing to check, which I didn't think of before, would be to see if
there are any updates to the driver for your video card.

If the problem is caused by TIF filling up, is there a way to avoid using TIF
in the first place? Performance isn't an issue... neither is efficiency.
I have 168MB specified for TIF - but I looked at the files and none of them
were accessed recently... in fact, the newest one was over a year old.
I will check on the driver.

Reduce the size of TIF to 50 MB.
