Hi,

I am having ADSL2+ connection at home via adsl2+ modem (setup in bridge
mode) and wireless router (netgear).

I am having this annoying problem with browsing the internet, when
sometimes I have to click on refresh or try again in many webpages,
before they finally open, of course that varies a lot according to the
reasons unknown to me.

I also thought that reinstalling the windows xp professional and ms
office would help, but no such thing happened unfortunately.

I was trying to figure out and I suspect the reason might be hiding
somewhere in some ports and port forwarding on my router, perhaps? some
people also told me that I keep on disappearing from services like
skype, but otherwise when I use those services, I haven't encountered
any major problems.

Even when I am downloading files, when I get to the page or link for
downloading, I get very fast speeds. I also had difficulties with
watching video on demand.

All these things sometimes work properly, but lot of times (more than
50%) they don't and that drives me crazy.

Does anyone have any idea about how to solve this?

Thanks

Tom

You might try an IE6 group as this is for IE5.5

IE6/OE6 newsgroups.
