THe problem that I am having is that certain web addresses get
redirected to a Goolge results page (which has random search criteria,
meaning it changes with each redirect) or to a web address called
"http://www.dailycarloan.com/search.php?qq=volvo" which is generally
some porn picture galleries page. THis doesn't happen with all web
addresses just some. I have tried using spybot, adaware, Ewido, and
smitrem to remove the unwanted script, but to no avail. Does anyone
have any ideas?

Go to "Control Panel", "Internet Options", "Programs" and click
"Reset Web settings".  You may have to reset your home page
manually.
