Hi Wilamon - If you wish to try restoring Content Advisor to its original
condition (because of your kids), you can obtain a Microsoft program
(CA-Reset.exe - 89.5K) to do this here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/CA-Reset.exe (listed on line
283) NOTE: Using CA-Reset will completely delete your Approved List -
everything starts like brand new, so consider this before you use it.

The problem is not that I can't change it - I can - it's
that it CHANGES BACK. I'm not worried about getting it to
filter stuff - the problem is that it resets to the MAXIMUM
filtering level, so I effectively can't view anything.

Hi Wilamon - I wasn't suggesting CA Reset as a means allowing you to change
it - I did read your post. Rather, that by resetting to original
conditions, your changes might "stick", since it will effectively
re-install/re-register components, and this often cures this type of
problem.
