I've been using and making simple stationery for some time now but recently
I tried inserting a song I converted from a .MP3 to at .WMA and had some
problems. I used the standard method of: Format > Background > Sound.
The .wma file (hymne.wma) was in my Stationery folder. The sound would play
while I was composing the letter but when I go to send it, I get an error
messaging saying that "One or more pictures in the message could not be
found". If I send the message anyway, it arrives at the addressees but they
cannot hear the sound. If they send it back to me using the "Reply" method,
I can hear the sound just fine.
Anyone else having this same problem or have any information on using .wma
sound files in Outlook Express? Thanks for the help. Mac

I don't know anything about wma files ` but maybe this will bring some light `
You have the wma in your files/hard drive so it shows for you 'referring to your own file.
Your receiver does not have that file on his/her hard drive so cannot hear it. ????
Just thinking out loud` ???

Unless I am mistaken, WMA and ASF files must be streamed from a web site.
