When I use the search function to find previous e-mails on Outlook
Express, I sometimes get the following error message: "Message could
not be displayed. OE encountered an unexpected problem while
displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low
disk space and try again." Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks

The only solution that I know of is to reboot.  If it's telling you to check for low memory or low disk space, that would mean that there is not enough memory left to perform the function. Or you don't have enough space left to download your messages. Are you saving them in your inbox?  That will affect you also. The ones you want to keep should always be saved in a separate folder.

Hello,
You can also try deleting the files in Temporary Internet Folder (clear your cache)

Tools/Internet Options/General/Delete Files

Days to keep in history, try 10 or less, under Settings try changing to never...

Hope it helps you.  Cheers, Ed
