In Outlook Express 6.0, how does one remove the stationery choice from the
[drop down] list?  I'm referring to the pull down menu: Message|New Message
Using.  I've created 2 stationeries and used them both.  Now, I don't need
one of them.  I've already deleted both the .gif and .htm from the: \program
files\common files\microsoft shared\stationery.
Thank you.

Unggit;   I believe that the drop down list contains about 10 stationery,
when you use more stationery, the one you don't want will keep moving to the
bottom of the list.   And eventually will be gone.  Just do not click on it
again, as that will move it to the top of the list, but will not be created
as you deleted the icons for it in staionery.

OK, thanks.
Wandering though, there's gotta be a better way.  Because, by the same
token, what if one wants to have more than 10 "choices" to stay on the list?
Appreciated the procurement, nutmeg!

You can go in Windows Explorer to
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery
and delete the html file, and all the bits and pieces that make up that file.

Thanks Linnane;
I tried that method, no go!  What would happen was that the entry (i.e.: the
name of the deleted stationery) would still be listed.  And that if one tried
to use it, a blank stationery would be given instead.  Not even a "warning",
much less an error, message would be given (a "bug" in the program?).
For now, I settle with (and already used) Nutmeg's method.  Thanks a bunch
though.
