Please help. We have OE6 on a W-XP machine and the Save Attachments is
GRAYED OUT making saving attachments impossible. What can be wrong and how
is this fixed?
We are unable to switch from Plain Text to HTML and back when forwarding
something from Usenet to our inbox. It will go as an HTML even with Plain
Text checked in Tools/Options/Send/Plain Text.
We cannot use Save Attachments from the Newsgroups as it is Grayed out there
as well.

OE menu, Tools/Options/Security tab and uncheck the obvious referencing attachments.

OE menu, Tools/Options/Send - look for a "Reply to messages using format in which sent" and uncheck it.

Same answers apply since the changes to the two menus above will fix it both in mail and news.
