I am not sure what is happening with my computer but all of a sudden every
time I opened Internet Explorer it closed on me. Gave me an error msg
asking if I wanted to report it to Microsoft. Then when I opened Windows
Explorer it started closing that out also. Tonight I try to open Norton and
now it closes and I am getting the same message. I went to Symantec's site
and tried to do an online scan and Internet Explorer closed out again. I
tried about 5 times. Does anyone know whats going on? I just ran a virus
scan yesterday. It did find a bug and said it fixed it. I didn't pay
attention to what it was. Now I can't open Norton to look and see. HELP

Almost doing me same way but getting illigal op been doing this about 5 weeks now.I have updated ...restored...repaired it still doing same thing

Antivirus is pretty worthless for finding adware and spyware and that's
becoming more invasive and troublesome like viruses all the time.

It would be my first guess for a safe check.

Can you get to www.lavasoftusa.com to download ad-aware. If you can,
Ad-Aware is pretty safe to use (always trying to avoid doing something to
make things worse here) and it might just get you up and running again.

Unfortunately HTML email is now a far bigger danger than it used to be, pity
someone always has to spoil things eh?

Try asking here or searching the group for tips, you will see the scale of
the problem.
