This might not be the proper group to ask this question ... Maybe I need to be pointed to another group.
About a year ago, I bought a Dell computer that came with everything installed. It has a huge hard drive and I would like to partition it. Is it possible to do that now? If so, is there a "cookbook" procedure to follow since I'm not too bright ... I need some help.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I am no whiz at computers but my son set up mine with "partition magic". Go to any search engine like Google or Yahoo and type it in and choose anyone of tha many listed there.. I cannot help you set it up as I really don't understand enough to help.

Get "Partition Magic". I think WinXP has commands for the function but I've not heard good things about it. "PM" is totally intuitive and self-explanatory.
