Spellcheck Scrolling

I have a strange problem with Spellcheck in Outlook Express.  The words
"scroll" in the check spelling screen.  For example, if the word "capital" is
spell wrong, then the highlighted word in the spellcheck pop-up will scroll
from top-to-bottom about 20+ times.

It makes it VERY hard to select the correct word to change.

Any idea how I can make this thing stop scrolling.  I have not found a
similar problem on MS's website.

See if this fixes it:

Motive SmartBridge (MOTIVESB.EXE) may have been installed by your ISP to aid
in reporting connection issues. I would consider uninstalling this
application unless you use it.  Alternatively open MSConfig (Start, Run and
enter MSConfig in the box and click OK), open the Startup tab and uncheck
"Motive SmartBridge".

Glad to hear it fixed it for you.  The program is only for diagnosis and
should be removed after connection issues have been fixed.  You can
permanently remove it via Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs if you wish or
just leave it unchecked in MSCONFIG under the Startup tab.  Thanks for the
feedback.
