I plug all the information into the script in note pad.  When I try to "save
as" I get the following message "Common Dialog Error (0x3002)" so I can't
save it.  What I have been doing is then I just close it and then copy and
paste into my stationery folder.  Anyone have any ideas about this error
message.  It doesn't happen all the time.
TIA Linda

Do you have a file comdlg32.dll on your system?  What operating system are
you using?

Hi Jim
Yes I have that file and I'm using XP SP2.

Then I have no idea as the COMmonDiaLoG dll is on your system and should be
functioning correctly.  That is the only reason for a common dialog error
that you see (i.e, a corrupted common diaglog library file).  I wonder if
when you upgraded to SP2, if you allowed an antivirus program to remain
running in the background?  If so, your installation could be corrupted.  If
that's the case, I'd suggest you uninstall SP2, reboot the computer, then
shut down all running programs (including any antivirus software) and
reinstall it.
