Permanent indent

Hi all, I just am having so much trouble 'saving a stationary and retaining
a permanent indent'.

Is it due to a setting I need to change in my OE (vers. 6.00.2900xxxx)?
I've even gone into my stationary folder through my OE
Tools/Options/compose/stationary to 'edit' just one stationary I've either
saved from somebody else's email or downloaded from a web site that makes
stationary.  When I try to edit, it opens up with FrontPage and although
I've used their Help directions, the indent is back to the far left side
when I try to start a new email using that 'fixed' stationary.

Could someone help me find a permanent repair for a permanent indent on all
of my stationary?  The original ones that came WITH outlook express are
permanently indented but they are boring.

I don't like to have to always Indent Increase for each stationary I try to
use; it should be already set right inside the stationary I would think.

TIA for any help, either how to fix or where to find the answer for me to
fix all of my 'saved stationary'.  katy

How are you saving your stationery? Is it a download, or are you just saving
it from an email format?

It's not really a "quick fix," but here's what I do: If I'm altering or
creating a stationery, I make sure the indent is increased and the margins
are set in Front Page. Front Page adjusts margins in the "Format" menu. In
the event that the stationery was not created with Front Page, I will edit
margins in Notepad from the pure HTML code.

I do not recommend using the "Save As Stationery" option in OE, because all
formatting other than the background image is lost in that transition.
Downloads and custom tweaking is preferable, and it will also give you ideas
and devices for creating your own stationeries.
