Outlook Express Attachments

I have the same problem. OE does this for security reasons. I found the
answer below
in a posting. If you go to tools/options/security as the posting below
stated
"it will be self evident". Just uncheck the box. I left it as it was on
mine.
If the attachment is text you can read it by File/Properties/Details and
this
will allow you to read the text.  Go to the below site for better info.

In OE go to Tools | Options | Security and uncheck "Do not allow
attachments...".
