Anyone know if Hotmail have probs at the moment?
Last night I sent three emails (from Outlook Express to Hotmail), all to
correct address's, and none appear to have reached their destination.
I had my suspicions of issues last night so I also sent the same emails
from Hotmails web browser interface and those arrived at their
recipients.
There has been no changes at either my home or work PC's but the Hotmail
send from OE seems to have quit working? Both systems have been working
fine for ages and I'm nowhere near my Hotmail space limit.
In order to test I have just sent a mail to myself at my work address
and its not appeared either.....
Anyone else getting this?
Regards

Be patient, those emails will arrive to destination with a delay and there's
nothing you can do.

I've recently witnessed delays of up to 12 hours (outward- and inward-bound)
with Hotmail-in-OE messages, Steve. Dunno why. (Mind that you're not using
the same server when you're sending from the online page).

Thanks for the reply, funnily enough I signed up to the extra storage
space option and it seems a little quicker.

I'd bet on it.

I have messages over 24 hours old that still have not
been delivered........no change in my outlook setup that
worked fine on Monday....I hope (?) it's a system problem
but there is not much traffic on this.....

I am also experiencing the same problem. The last email successfully
sent from Outlook Express was on 4/27/2004 at 9:20PM EST... like the
original poster I tried the Web interface and the emails arrived
almost immediately. Surely 48 hours is long enough of a delay to
indicate a problem other than just email volume.

Still appears to be a problem, it would be nice for the Hotmail team to
acknowledge the problem on the website
