Do a file search for all files ending with DBX. Those you find in another
folder than your default Mail Store folder are most likely the missing ones.
If you move the message store w/o first creating a folder to contain the
files, there is a very good possibility you will lose the old, stored
messages completely if you are not careful. Did you first create an empty
folder to contain the files before using the Move button on OE's
Tools/Options/Maintenance?

Yes, I did. I may have stumbled on the solution actually...(thanks to Tom's
site www.tomsterdam.com).... it may have something to do with the
Folders.dbx...not exactly sure why, but if I move it to where all the other
.dbx files directory is stored...it magically restores the dbx folders and
its corresponding messages.

Folders.dbx is the Index file for the message store - it's that file that
tells OE that there are in fact message files there.....
