Outlook Express won't connect on startup

Outlook Express refuses to dial up automatically when I
start it up. It gives me this error message:

'An error occurred while establishing the Dial-Up Network
connection 'BTOW'.'

When I open Internet Explorer it dials up fine, and of
course I can just connect before I open Outlook Express,
and then I get my emails with no problems, but it's
annoying and I'd really like to figure it out!

If anyone's got any ideas I'd be really grateful.

Thanks
Ed Williamson

Open Outlook Express, click on Tools/Options and Connection tab and review
your settings there.  They should agree with the settings in Internet
Explorer.

Thanks - have just tried that but they already do agree.
Under the Connections tab in Outlook Express, it
says 'Outlook Express shares your Internet Connection
settings with Internet Explorer'. I checked through as
well just to be sure and each setting is identical to
that in Internet Explorer.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Connection. See if the box is checked
and the settings are also correct there.

The box is checked and settings are the same there!

Thanks anyway. Any other thoughts?
