You connected to this news server (msnews.microsoft.com) and newsgroup with Outlook
Express.

Is the problem with another news server?  Can you get to some newsgroups on that news
server but not others?

What is the full text of the error message?

Some news servers require a login.  In OE you specify this at Tools, Accounts, News,
Properties, Server.
