I created a length rule that I mistakenly put in the newsgroup area.  Is
there a way to move the rule so that it applies to new emails (not news).

If you mean: *Where the number of lines in the message is more
than....*, that is a news rule only.

Sorry,
I meant to say a lengthy rule.  A rule that has 12-15 different things in
it.  It is applied to the Tab that says "News Rules" when I meant to put in
under the Tab that says "Mail Rules".  Now I want to move it... so that it
applies to my mail, not my rules.  I can redo the whole thing.... just
thought there would be an easier way.
Thanks

Possibly, but I am not aware of a way.
