hotmial accounts in OE

I have several hotmail accounts that I read in OE.

Some accounts show in OE all the folders that I have in hotmail.com.

Some accounts do NOT show in OE all the folders that I have in hotmail.com.

How do I get ALL the hotmail.com folders to display (along with the contents
thereof) in OE?

Do not tell me to cancel these accounts and reopen them - I already did that
and THOSE are the accounts that fail to show all the hotmail.com folders in
OE - they DID show all the accounts prior to closing/reopening them!!

This problem applies to both the OS generated folders and MY generated
folder.

In general, I have found that having more than one Hotmail account in
any given MS Outlook Express Identity leads to problems. Often, messages
which should only be in the account folders for one of the accounts get
reduplicated in many, or all of the other account folders. The only work
around that I found to be effective is to limit myself to one MSN
Hotmail account per MS Outlook Express Identity.

Beyond that, your MSOE Hotmail folders only mirror what is available on
the Hotmail servers. You may need to tweak your Synchronization
settings, but I never had a problem with that. Any messages which you
want stored locally only, but not on the MSN servers, must be stored in
a folder under the Local Folders tree. Any time that you open MSOE
without logging in to the Hotmail servers you will only see what was on
the servers at the end of the last session.

This doesn't make any sense to me. I have never seen my OS (Windows ME)
generate any MSOE folders; unless I requested it. Perhaps you meant to
distinguish between the _Application_ generated folders and those you
created? With Hotmail accounts, there are three sources of folder
creation:

1.)  MS Outlook Express creates five local folders:
a.)  Inbox
b.)  Outbox
c.)  Sent Items
d.)  Deleted Items
e.)  Drafts

2.)  MSN Hotmail creates four folders; at least as shown in my account:
a.)  Inbox
b.)  Sent Items
c.)  Deleted Items
d.)  Bulk Mail

3.)  Any other folders than those are user-created folders.

I am using XP home with IE/OE 6.0.

I actually have six hotmail accounts that I read via OE

I have NEVER had any mail from one hotmail account get into some other
hotmail account when accessed via OE. In other words, hotmail account A and
hotmail account B, when viewed in OE the mail appears in the correct A=A,
B=B accounts.

How do I do that to make the folder appear - synchronization settings just
lists the folders that are in the folder list and the folder is not in the
list - see below. (Said folder IS on the hotmail server.)

Exactly - my question actually regards the hotmail folder called bulk mail -
where is THAT folder in the MSOE list? (It IS on the hotmail server.)

Some of my account display that folder in MSOE others do not WHY? And how do
I make it appear in all OE accounts as I want to inspect the contents to
make sure no 'good' mail has gotten into that folder.

Those folders seem to be in both hotmail and OE lists.

I have never had the email _actually_ get across the accounts. However,
with Hotmail A _and_ Hotmail B _both_ in a single Identity, I have
actually _seen_ email from account A listed in the account B folder tree
in MSOE. I _could_ fix that by closing MSOE, then reopening it, when it
happened, because it didn't happen 100% of the time. It was very
annoying when it happened, though; and the only solution that ever
worked for me was to simply create one Identity for each MSN Hotmail
account, and just use Identity A for Hotmail account A, and Identity B
for Hotmail account B, and so on.

Just a bit of flakiness in MSOE. At this time, I only have a single
Hotmail account which I can access through MSOE. MSN was, originally,
going to just turn it off for all free Hotmail accounts. They ultimately
relented, and continue to allow access to free accounts which had access
prior to their Sept. 26, 2004 cutoff date; but, by then, my other
Hotmail accounts had expired.

And I only use MS Outlook Express for one single, extremely  useful
feature: I can actually move email between the desktop and the client. I
can forward email as an attachment to accounts which I access with
Pegasus Mail. PM allows me to save the attached email message as an .eml
file. MSOE allows me to drag and drop the .eml file into an MSOE folder.
Then I can use IMAP accounts to move that email around within the mail
clients.
