I would like to install IE6 on my parents' PC (they currently have version
5) but on their dialup connection the download would take nearly two hours.
Since I have broadband, someone pointed me to this page:
http://www.broomeman.com/support/wsiedown.html which has step-by-step
instructions for downloading the entire program and saving it to CD.
Unfortunately, when I follow the steps - installing ie6setup.exe and then
running "C:\Downloads\ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"
I get the error message "C:\Downloads\ie6setup.exe is not a valid Win32
application".
I'd be grateful for any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong. I'm
running Win XP Pro.
Many thanks,
Bert

Problem solved: somehow, the ie6setup.exe file was corrupted. I downloaded
it again and the process worked flawlessly.
