Downloading ZIP files.... just opens

You know when you download a rm file, it downloads it into
your temp folder then opens it. That is what happens when
i downlaod zip files, i dunno when it started happening or
what cause it. But i think it's something in the registry,
can anyone help?

Open Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types.
Scroll down to the file type in question and select it.
Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version.
Check the box for "Confirm open after download".
