Forums - can't reply any more :(

Also (to continue from my previous post :)), I can't post
on most forums; even if I can post a new thread on some,
and read posts, and call up the reply form, when I try to
SEND the form I get - yep - "the page cannot be
displayed."

I have most trouble with PHP-based forums, although ASP
etc. aren't much better. As I used to be active in a huge
number of forums, I'm beyond frustration on this one.

PHP, ASP are both server based. They have nothing
to do with your system. They run on the web server.
Go to your Internet Options from the Tools menu item,
and click the Advanced tab, uncheck Show friendly HTTP
error messages. That might give you a better error. It's
most likely an error on the server of the site, nothing to do
with your computer.
