Hi,
Go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm  Look for "Various Registry
Fixes"  There's a REG file which will fix this.

Hope this helps,

Start-Run-Regedit

There could be more than one "GeneralTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for GeneralTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "GeneralTab" if present.

You should also check to see what parasite has removed the tab.
