Typically when I try to save a picture (the picture is a jpg) I right click
on the picture & choose "save picture as", the dialog box pops up & it's
saves it as the pic name give on the webpage with a jpg extension.  But
recently, when I want to save a picture, i right click on the picture, choose
"save picture as" & the dialog pops up & it wants to save the picture as a
bmp when the pic on the website is a jpg & it wants to name the pic
untitled.bmp instead of the given jpg name on the wegpage.  How can I change
it back so it will save the pic as the pic name & foramt that is on the
webpage.  I'm using windows 2000 & IE 6.0  Thanks

Hi,
This is almost always cured by clearing the IE cache.
From IE> Tools> Options> General> Delete Files & Delete offline content.
It's often recommended that the TIF
folder be kept at about 50 MB (Settings.)
