Hi,
I've been having problems with my IE lately, for some reason it doesn't want
to show up most if not all the pictures in any webpage i go to. I tried
clearing my cache, but no, that did not fix it.
I was wondering if this is any kind of virus in my compy or simply a bug
that can be fixed with a patch. Can any of you please tell me what to do?
Thanks!

Uhm, one more thing.. don't give me the same link you give everybody please,
I've read it already and it was of no help
(http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm). I need something else, not sure what it
is, but certainly not that address.

Daniel,
I have to agree I have went and did the same things and still no go. I take
it down on the left bottom portion of browser you get message stating so many
downloads left? Do you also find that the more pics on the page the more
likely not to get complete download and while waiting slows the system down
and pic never do download. I think that I started to get the problem either
when I installed xp service pack 2 or the patch for the jpeg stuff, is this
about when it happen to you also?

From http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm
Most of the contents of this page are from Don Varnau and Mike Burgess
There are many possible causes and solutions.
Try the quick, easy fix first. Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet
Options> General> Delete files and Delete offline content. Reset the TIF
folder size to about 50MB (Settings button) and clear it occasionally.

Additional information from Mike Burgess:
Are you using a Firewall or "filtering software"?
Several of these are known to cause problems:
1) Zone Alarm Pro [Private Header Info - enabled?]
Reset "Ad Blocking" and "Cookie Control" to "medium"
"Mobile Code Control" = Off
2) Symantec (ISS\NIS)[Enable Browser Privacy - enabled]
Active Content - "Allow All Script To Execute"
Problem: some sites cannot detect the 128 bit encryption
Solution: Completely remove and reinstall NIS.

"User Agent"="Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Win32)"
Note: "Win32" = Windows 98\ME
Other versions = (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0;)
To check your "User Agent":
