ie has experienced an error and needs to close

initially i didn't know what was causing this error.  but i have since
noticed that whenever i get a popup window which i allow by pressing the ctrl
button first, i get this error message and any and all windows i have open
will close.  has anyone experienced this?  and if so, how did you rectify the
problem?

Hi Amal :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Temprarily allow Popups in XP
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/web/sp2_popupblocker.mspx

How to Enable Pop-ups

The above issue can occur, if you have not enabled Activex scripts or jave
scripts.

Try enabling the scripts in IE by following the steps given below:

1.Open IE and click Tools and select Internet Options.
2.Click Security and click Custom level.
3.Scroll down the tab and  enable all the options under "Activex control
and plugins".
4.Also enable the options under "Java VM" in the scroll list.
5.Click Ok.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.
