Hi,

I can't open up the website for these Community Newsgroups on my home
computer. It sounds like a setting that I don't have configured correctly
but I can't figure out what it is. Any ideas?

Why not use a proper newsreader if you are at home? MUCH easier.
have a look at these on how to configure Outlook Express to read news.
