Clicking on an email link in IE will try to launch Outlook Express and not
Outlook 2003.

I have selected Microsoft Office Outlook in IE, Tools, Internet Options,
Programs, Email.

Thanks for any help.

Sounds like the necessary registry entries are not being made.  Assuming XP:

Close all instances of IE/OE/Outlook.

In My Computer go to Tools...Folder Options...File Types tab, scroll down to
the (NONE) URL:MailTo Protocol file type, click it to highlight it, click
Advanced button, click Open to highlight, click Edit button, in the
Application used to perform action box, type in:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe" -c IPM.Note /m "%1"

Quotes intact.  Adjust path for your specific install.

If no joy with the above, see the Resolution section of this article:

"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot
fulfill the messaging request" error message when you send e-mail from
third-party program in Outlook

Hello all,

I want to open email-links and post new mails in my Agent Pro reader. Now
they are opened in Oulook. I'm working with IE XP Pro 6.

How can I change the setting??
