Some links don't work

Sometimes when I'm browsing and click on a link, specifically to preview
ringtones at cingular.com, nothing happens. I used to be able to preview them
and have done nothing different since. This also happens once in a while when
browsing other sites, click on a link and nothing happens. I have gone into
the tools menu and restored the default settings for browsing and nothing
still. Just happens every once in a while on certain pages.

I have contacted the site managers and they say that their sites are working
fine. Also have tried the links on other computers and they work fine. I was
wondering what would be blocking me from accessing those links. I don't want
to re-install windows to fix this but will if I have to. When clicking the
links absolutely nothing happens no pop-up message, nothing. Please help.

Windows Home XP Sp2 IE 6.0
Thanks Brad

Hi,
Since this is a sporadic problem, I would start by clearing the IE cache.
IE> Tools> Internet Options> General> Delete files (and delete offline
content when that dialog pops up.) Then set the size of the Temporary
Internet Files folder to 50-60 MB (Settings.)

That may be all that's required.

Hope this helps,
Don
