Can I uninstall a ie update package ?

e.g. q818596 ?
I find a progrom that I can't update a virus defines in ie6+sp1, the version
of wininet.dll is 6.0.2800.1400, but it's sucessful in verion wininet.dll is
6.0.2800.1207, I want to uninstall the update package and test .
Who can help me ??

Your anti-virus application can't get updates running wininet.dll
v6.0.2800.1400? What anti-virus application is it?

You *should* be running v6.0.2800.1525 or v6.0.2800.1526 (WinXP SP1 or
older). Check in at WIndows Update ASAP.

If the update is listed in Add/Remove programs, then you can probably
remove it -- but you should probably be trying to go forward rather than
back. 6.0.2800.1400 isn't anywhere near current. Check Windows Update to
see what it thinks you need.
