Internet Explorer Question

Hi.
I just bought a new computer (with Vista) about 3 weeks ago.
I noticed there is now a "Recent Pages Menu" on the left-hand site of the
address bar, which, if clicked, displays history of web sites viewed.

However, on my computer, I cannot get these same websites to display if I
click the right hand side of the address bar, like I used to with the old
versions of Internet Explorer.  Only the current web site appears, and the
drop down list is blank.

I viewed the settings in Internet Options (Advanced tab), and under "Search
from the Address bar" heading, I have  "Just go to the most likely site"
chosen.  There is not the option like I used to have that states "Display
results, and go to the most likely site."

Any thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks.

The Recent Pages on the left is sites visited during the current session.
The drop-down list from the Address Bar is only addresses that have been
entered in the Address Bar.
